South Point is such a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Every time I swing by, I am treated to one of the best cocktails I've had in Akron along with superior service from a very helpful and friendly staff. You could get lost in the number of options they have available - I think they have a half dozen different types of Old Fashioned, alone - but the bartenders are so helpful and accommodating, willing to talk thru what you like and don't like to find the best option for you. The space is quiet, cosy, and vibey with the lights kept low. Seating is limited, but I haven't had an issue getting a stool yet.

Bring or order your own food to the outstanding South Point Tavern. Lots of bourbon, tequilas, and wines to choose from. Reserve there private room for small gatherings! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and want you to enjoy your experience!

Cozy place, with a great selection of Bourbon as well as many other spirits. It doesn't hurt that the bartender, Ryan, is just as enthusiastic as my wife and I are when it comes to bourbon which made for a great conversation.

This is the best place in the neighborhood for cocktails, there's no discussion. An amazing selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch, and hard to find spirits. South Point has an atmosphere unlike any place in the area! Go see Mycal and Anna!! They're cool as hell! Very knowledgeable and full of recommendations!! Love this place!

Perhaps the best bourbon experience I've ever had at a bar. Incredible bourbon list and pretty decent pricing. The opportunity to try so many unicorns in a flight was awesome and the bartender was super knowledgeable and we talked bourbon shop all night. So glad we found this bar on a work trip!!!?

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. We held a special event here for my step-father's celebration of life, and the owners and the staff were incredible. They accommodated us, took care of our guests and helped us create the perfect ambience for our event. I only wish I lived closer, so I could frequent this adorable neighborhood tavern, tucked back from busy West Market Street. (They do not have a full menu, but you are welcome to bring in outside food. My recommendation: Piada Italian Street Food from across the street!).

What a fantastic find. My wife and I went in there to have a drink before our dinner at Ken Stewart's down the street. The bartender Todd introduced himself to us and welcomed us. Ask our name and remembered our names while we were there the whole time. They have every whiskey you could possibly imagine. I'm not a whiskey Drinker I do rum so I pick the one round drink I found in their menu and it was super sweet but delightful. I would not order it again because I'm not big into sweet drinks my wife had one of their specialty drinks and it was amazing. The service was awesome. The atmosphere is great. We will definitely go back when we're in the area. I wish we had a place like this near Tallmadge

First time there. The bartender, Brian, was super friendly and attentive. Great sense of humor. Apparently he’s newer but you wouldn’t know it. Casey was great too! Adorable. Nice, classy speakeasy atmosphere and perfect spot to get a drink. Will be back!

Enjoyed the energy wide variety of Bourbon selection. This Bar had that polished elegance where time slows down and every detail feels intentional. And the such a Cool bartender
